3. Why am I digital native?

Why am I, digital native?
I fall under digital native because I was born in the era of technology or after the invention of technologies. I feel very comfortable using technology. I feel very uncomfortable without using one of the technologies. Time passes very quickly when I engrossed myself in watching movies, listening to music, commenting and liking photos in facebook, looking at the pictures of celebrities on Instagram, chatting with friends and video calling parents on messenger and scrolling news feed in twitter. Though I don’t use all the above mentioned social Media in one day, I manage time to read the news on Twitter as it is short and we get news instantly. Twitter is not just for fun but I get lots of information from the twitter.

The amount of time I am engaged in social Media is listed below:
1. Facebook: 30 minutes to 1 hour when I am bored.
2. Twitter: 10 to 15 minutes.
3. Messenger: 20 to 30 minutes.
4. Instagram: 15 to 30 minutes
5. Watching movies: 2 to 3 hours
6. Listening to music: 30 to 40 minutes
7. Typing: I write usually for about 30 to 40 minutes.

From the above calculation, I approximately spend 6 to 7 hours of my time in technologies. Now I became accustomed to listening to an audiobook while sleeping I manage time to listen to music while reading and typing and even while doing dishes. So I called myself digital native as I manage my own time to get engage in technologies. Where do you fall? Digital native or a digital immigrant? Make sure you figure out with evidence like me.
