2. Digital native vs Digital immigrants

On this particular day, we were being introduced to the two great terms that we have never heard before. The first one is a digital native. Digital natives are the generation of people born during or after the rise of digital technologies. Digital immigrants are people born before the advent of technologies.
From this two, I fall under digital native.  We are exposed to technology from an early age. We can deal with all kind of technologies like mobile, computer, television, laptop etc. People who are born digital native, they have the ability to manage time for Social Media at any cost. From where do we manage all those time? Some of us sacrifice our time for sleeping just to chat with friends, comment and like their photos on Facebook. Some of us use mobile phones even in the toilet. I am a good example of a person who uses a mobile phone while sleeping because I have to listen to the audio. Many of us use mobile phones while walking, eating and doing dishes. All of this is an evidence to show that we are a digital native person.
Those people who are a digital immigrant, they cannot manage time like we do as they feel uncomfortable using the technology.  Instead of encouraging, they restrict us from using all those technologies as they believe that it may have a negative impact on our health. As I observe younger generation and the older generation, I see the difference clearly. I frequently find myself interfacing with the newest digital natives and classic digital immigrants.
