One of the most effective tools that I have learned during ICT class is Google classroom. If you are a teacher you can create one Google classroom where you can share files, provide activities, assess students work, and upload notes, presentations, and tutorials. You can create a code to join the class and even other students join you can change the code. So it’s very flexible. In a Google Classroom, you can create a worksheet for students. You don’t have to worry about my Drive being cluttered because each assignment is put into its own folder in my Drive and every assignment is automatically titled with your student’s names.
As a result of learning about Google Classroom, I will continue to think of innovative ways to use it. In the future, I will definitely teach my students how to use Google Classroom as it will allow me to share documents easily, which I know will motivate me to create more and try new things. In addition, I plan to share Google Classroom with some of the teachers who don’t have any knowledge on it.
When we were introduced to Google classroom, I was really excited. Same like me, if I share the ideas with the teachers once I move to the field, I believe it will open the doors to other teachers using Google Docs in the classroom. I found the idea of using Google classroom very user-friendly because of which I will definitely use once I reach the field.
